미국 대선 개표가 진행 중인 가운데 민주당의 조 바이든 후보가 선거인단 264명을 확보, 당선에 필요한 '매직 넘버'에 근접했다고 AFP통신이 5일 보도했다.
대통령 당선에 필요한 선거인단 매직넘버는 270명이다.
조 바이든 후보로서는 6명의 선거인단만 더 추가로 확보하는 되면 당선된다.

AFP news agency reported on the 5th that while the US presidential elections were being counted, Democratic candidate Joe Biden secured 264 electoral votes & was close to the'magic number' required for the election.

The magic number, which is the number of electors required for the election, is 270.
It means that only six additional electors will be secured as candidate Biden.
AFP news agency analyzed that President Donald Trump, who challenged for re-election, secured 214 electors.
The AFP news agency estimated that winning only in Nevada, where there were six electoral troops, would secure Biden's 270 electoral troops.

According to the New York Times NYT, in Nevada, where 86% of the votes were counted as of 5:15 p.m. Eastern time on the 4th 7:15 a.m. KST on the 4th, Biden was 49.3% and Trump <48.7%>. Leading the President by a slight margin.
Candidate Biden maintains its dominance in Arizona, one of the six major race states, and has succeeded in overturning in Michigan and Wisconsin, which were defeated by President Trump.
The AFP news agency cited the US media & predicted that Biden would win in Arizona, Michigan and Wisconsin.
After being overtaken by Candidate Biden in a major competition and making the charter disadvantageous, Trump Camp demanded a recount of Wisconsin. The states of Michigan and Pennsylvania have decided to file a lawsuit to suspend the counting.
