오늘부터 10월 1일까지 10일간은 ‘대한민국 새단장 주간’입니다.

추석 명절과 APEC 정상회의를 앞두고 새로운 대한민국, 깨끗한 국토에서 가족과 손님을 맞이하기 위해 마련된 전 국민 대청소 운동입니다.

특히 생활 환경이 열악한 지역과 전통시장 주변에서는 지역 주민과 자원봉사자들이 함께 힘을 합쳐 집중적인 정화 활동을 펼칠 예정이라고 합니다.

아쉽게도 저는 UN 총회 일정으로 인해 참석하지 못하지만, 해외에서도 대한민국의 위상과 국격을 높이기 위해 최선을 다하겠습니다.

많은 분께서 동참해 주신다면 깨끗한 대한민국 땅을 만드는 데 큰 힘이 될 것입니다.

‘대한민국 새단장 주간’을 통해 깨끗하고 쾌적한 국토를 조성하고, 국민 모두가 자부심을 느낄 수 있는 나라를 함께 만들어 가길 기대합니다.

The ten days from today until October 1st are "Renew Korea Week."

This nationwide cleanup campaign was designed to welcome family and guests to a new Korea and a clean nation ahead of the Chuseok holiday and the APEC Summit.

Local residents and volunteers will join forces to conduct intensive cleanup activities, particularly in areas with poor living conditions and around traditional markets.

Unfortunately, I cannot attend due to my UN General Assembly schedule, but I will do my best to elevate Korea's status and prestige overseas.

The participation of many people will be a significant contribution to creating a clean nation.

Through "Renew Korea Week," I hope to create a clean and pleasant nation and build a nation in which all citizens can take pride.
